Technical Support Services

Lux has a special expertise in providing Information Technology solutions to our clients. We have developed Web Portals and Online Registration Systems for clients such as NASA and the Department of Education. It is our extensive Information Technology and programming background that allows us to develop customized state-of-the-art databases and management systems in support of peer review processes.

We have been very successful in improving the cost-efficiency and overall effectiveness of our performance by developing and maintaining customized online databases. This custom software creates a flexible automated system that can be used to control and monitor all phases of the peer review process from the registration of reviewers, and the tracking of grant applications, to recording the scores of each grant. Due to the fact that these systems are web-enabled they can be accessed on-site, at any Federal office, or anywhere that an internet connection is available.

These systems house all relevant information for the review process. They allow us to create customized and detailed reports such as reviewer ethnicity and demographic information, as well as site location, and reviewer availability reports. As part of the database design process Lux will determine the types of logs, reports, and design queries needed to provide requested information within hours of a request. When special reports are needed we can quickly customize queries to extract any subset of data housed in the database. By thoroughly understanding the reporting and business requirements of the peer review process Lux can design a support infrastructure that streamlines the data collection and dissemination processes.
